Another Thursday night spent at Bob Kato’s Drawing Club.  Steve Jacobsen came in dressed as Gunga Din for tonight’s session and it was fun trying to come up with stories for each pose.  Trying to put Mark McDonnell’s gesture drawing teachings into good use.  Still not quite there, but it will…eventually.  haha.  If you can guess which poses I plus-ed, I’ll give you a high-5.

I decided to give the sharpie and prismacolor markers another go round, but towards the end I just decided to go with the fat end of the prismacolor black to do my drawing.  It garnered interesting results,  so it might be worth experimenting with some more.  I’m not a clean or efficient with my line by any means so it’ll be fun to just draw with cumbersome tools: sharpies, chisel tip markers, and brush pens.

Anyways, let me know what you guys think.  cheers
