sketch duh-dump

For those who wonder how much drawing I actually do, sketch duh-dump! Sorry, I just started reading Scott Pilgrim this week and yeah it’s a pretty darn good read. Back to more pressing matters: I draw in my sketchbook(s) whenever I find time in between school, my internship, drawing workshops, and sleep.

For the most part, drawing keeps me company when I eat alone and such. And if you follow this blog and the sketch duh-dumps, then you’ll notice that there are quite a few people that make guest appearances in this thing: they’re eating their lunch too and fall victim to my poor artist’s rendition of them.

Keeping a sketchbook is a constant reminder of what I need to work on.  There are far too many to list, but it also allows me to try different things to keep growing as an artist.  I’ve been watching Jason Seiler’s dvd recently and got some advice in that I should also have a sketchbook that I just keep for myself.  I’m pretty shameless about the showing my sketches and whatnot, but I think it’ll be a good idea to keep a book around just for me.  It’ll be a secret mission of sorts.

Better and better and better all the time!!!!! Nice to see your stuff as always! I think it is a good idea to have your own sketch book just for yourself, but it is also cool that you always share your talent with everyone else! Have more confidence in yourself! Your stuff looks awesome:)
