Memory Sketching

After looking at the blogs of character designers like David Colman and Stephen Silver, I thought it would be good practice to do some memory sketching. I never got around to it until today. I was conversing with my friend, Julianne, about her webcomic, Black Rainbows, and how her recent comic was about Carl’s Jr. The first thing that popped into my head was this obese man on a bluetooth who was eating by himself. So I tried to draw out the features that stood out and here’s the product. Hopefully, memory sketching will be more of a habit in my drawing. Enjoy?
