Late Night Paint Session
So kick-ass artist Bobby Chiu was hosting a video podcast a few hours ago where he would answer questions while streaming a feed of himself painting on photoshop. I’ve got a two monitor setup and decided to take full advantage of this opportunity: I’d paint on one screen and kinda watch/listen to his live podcast on the other. If you ever had doubts about where your art was taking you, you should have tuned in earlier.
Bobby is definitely an inspirational speaker and artist. But anyways, here’s the product of the late night painting. I had this little sorcerer character sitting in my sketchbook for a few weeks and thought today would be an opportune moment to do a render. Simple design and tried experimenting with different brushes. Took about 2 1/2 hours to complete this guy. That’s all there is to it.
Cheers.
