Happy New Years?

It’s 2009 and I hope everyone had a Happy New Year.  I’ve never been one for New Year’s Resolutions since the ones I come up with are close to impossible: shoot lasers out of my eyes, walk through walls, x ray vision, etc.  But this year, I decided to set goals that are based in reality.  So here, goes:

2009 Resolutions:

• Add more styles to my character design arsenal
• Go to the zoo more often
• Get out of my comfort zone when it comes to drawing
• Paint more with watercolors
• Be more disciplined
• Get back into Jiu Jitsu

I figured that by setting more goals, there is more of a chance that i’ll be able to succeed in one of my resolutions.  To celebrate, I’ll be posting drawings of character types that I’ve never drawn before for the entire month.  Hopefully the experiment will be a success and allow me to grow as an artist.

Anyways, I’ve never really drawn villains before so I thought an evil sorcerer would be a good start.
