day 31: digital painting

Sketch Challenge over!  It was hard to keep up with the challenge because I would get into a design rut and would occasionally get sick due to a sudden shift in weather.  Getting sick totally threw a monkey wrench into my schedule because drawing was the last thing on my mind as I sneeze my head off and feel tired.  But all in all, it was a challenge that helped me realize what things are lacking in my character design skills.  It’s a lot easier to point out your tendencies and habits when your look at all your drawings side by side.  So for February, I’ll be focusing more on pushing my shapes and dominant masses.  Stay tuned.

  yeah she was cleaned up with illustrator. i sketched her in PS. I do most of my clean up in illustrator wish i had a steady hand to work a brush pen! so Kudos!
