Just got back from my Vis Dev class at the Animation Academy in Burbank and here’s a watercolor value study I did in class.  It was from a botched marker rendering i had lying in my sketchbook so I figured this was the way to save the illustration.  There are some parts that still need a little fixing, but I thought it was a good exercise in watercolor. I remember when I was taking color theory at Santa Monica College and how I tried my best to avoid doing the assignments in watercolor and now I’m beginning to like the medium now. You’d get a real kick out of the watercolor assignments I did in my color theory class. But that’s for another day. Anyways, enjoy.
