I am proud of you for always pushing yourself! I am working on stuff too. One critique I would have, that I think would make your rendering look sharper, is if you would hold off on the gradients. I think it looks too fishy and ambiguous, as it does not say anything about the form really. I am no expert by any means, (lol) but I think it looks more professional if the shapes are fleshed out with confidant, sharp tones rather than a wash of gradient. Just an idea!
