1000 Paintings

It has been said that it takes about 1000 bad drawings until things start to make sense. I’m gonna apply that theory towards painting (digital and traditional) and pray to god that I become halfway decent at it. I’m not going to include any of my previous work on this page since it would take too long to upload and count everything. The only solution was to start with a clean slate since I kind of have an idea to what I’m doing now.

Although my new concept work will be included in this archive, I’m also going to include master copies, paintings from models, and more refined speedpaints. So wish me luck.   Who knows? I might actually be good at this. haha.

  Wow, your paint switch is stuck in the on position. I like the muddled colors in the zombie girls’ skin tones, esp. the pasty white one. And I think what you’re doing with the color and light in the background on these paintings is a nice touch. It gives the paintings a more finished feel, supporting the way the subject is lit and giving the colors on the subject something to work against.
